When do you meet?
We meet on Friday mornings 9:00am - noon. Our year starts in September and ends in early May.
Where do you meet?
We meet at Lebanon Presbyerian Church in Lebanon, Ohio. 123 N. East Street, Lebanon, OH 45036.
I only have Preschool children, can I still join?
Enrollment is limited to families who have children Kindergarten through 12th grade. We ask that the Kindergarten children have the ability to pay attention and behave appropriately in a classroom setting, and have some basic skills in writing, letter recognition and number recognition in order to fully participate in our classes.
We do have classes for Preschool children of these families.
Do your classes require homework?
Some classes DO require homework. Classes with homework are clearly specified in the Class Descriptions when registering. Families should register for alternative classes or reconsider joining Bright Ideas if they do NOT want to complete homework in accordance with the requirements set forth by the teacher. Failure to complete homework will result in discipline and potential dismissal from the co-op for repeated violations.
Are you a drop-off program?
We are NOT a drop-off program. ALL students must have a parent or legal guardian on the premises for the entire duration of the program.
As such, ALL parents are required to fulfill various duties and roles during every co-op meeting. Duties include, but are not limited to, teaching, assisting, setting up, cleaning up, monitoring halls, and more. All parents will be assigned one ore more duties every semester and are expected to complete those duties with excellence.
Do you require masks?
We do NOT require masks and most of our families do not wear them. We do, however, support a family's right to choose to wear masks if they feel so inclined.
My child does not want to attend all three hours of classes. Can we still join?
No, all families must take classes all 3 hours and remain on the premises for the entire 3 hours.
